2 Killed, 1 Beheaded in Rivers

Three persons were killed in Bane and Kpaa, two Ogoni communities in the Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State at the weekend.
A clash which happened on Sunday morning probably between two rival cult groups claimed lives of three yet to be identified persons, including a young woman.
It was gathered that one of the suspected cultist was beheaded after being shot, his body was later taken to the mortuary. Although the cult clashes in the area became commonness the reason for them is still unknown.
The incident was confirmed by the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Khana Local Government Area, Mr. Hyacinth Nwiye and the state assistant Police Public Relations Officer, Grace Iringe-Koko. However, no extra details on the clash were provided.
